Dr. Therese Rizzo serves as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board for Botany Scientifics, where she has been a founding member since 2019 and an instrumental force behind several of the company’s most groundbreaking formulations.

Dr. Rizzo began her career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 1996. She went on to serve our nation with distinction as an officer in the United States Air Force, providing expert care to service members, veterans, and dignitaries at Nellis Air Force Base and Andrews Air Force Base. Rising to the rank of Captain, she led with compassion, clinical precision, and an unwavering dedication to those who serve.

Following her military service, Dr. Rizzo contributed to the advancement of combat trauma care as a Research Analyst for Anteon and General Dynamics, supporting the Army’s Joint Theatre Combat Trauma Registry. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2014, with a focus on understanding the clinical reasoning of nurses in emergency medicine, and later completed a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine in 2019.
