A trusted contributor to our clinical direction since 2019, Dr. Rizzo has helped shape several of our most advanced formulations — ensuring that every step forward reflects both scientific rigor and deep human compassion.

Dr. Rizzo earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 1996 and went on to serve our nation with distinction as an officer in the United States Air Force. Stationed at Nellis Air Force Base and Andrews Air Force Base, she provided expert care to service members, veterans, and dignitaries alike. Rising to the rank of Captain, she led with precision, courage, and unwavering dedication.

Following her military service, she advanced frontline medicine as a Research Analyst with Anteon and General Dynamics, supporting the Army’s Joint Theatre Combat Trauma Registry — helping improve trauma response and survivability for those serving in active combat zones.

In 2014, she earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, specializing in emergency medicine and clinical decision-making. She later completed a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, expanding her expertise in regenerative and restorative care.

Today, Dr. Rizzo brings her deep research background, military discipline, and servant’s heart to Botany Scientifics’ evolving scientific and wellness vision — supporting responsible cannabinoid research, ECS-focused innovation, and evidence-based natural healing, especially for veterans and frontline professionals.
